Emergency AC Service Call: Restoring Comfort When It's Needed Most

Some jobs come in as scheduled maintenance — others come in as urgent calls that need a fast response. This was one of the latter, an emergency service request where our team was dispatched on-site to diagnose and resolve the issue quickly.

The job started with electrical diagnostics, using a clamp multimeter to check current readings on the unit and rule out any power-related faults before moving further into the system. From there, our technician got to work on the ceiling cassette unit itself, carefully accessing the internal components from a ladder to inspect the fan assembly and motor housing.

A major culprit behind the reported issue quickly became clear: the air filters. Heavily clogged with built-up dust, they were significantly restricting airflow and putting unnecessary strain on the unit — a common cause of reduced cooling performance and system stress. The filters were removed and given a thorough rinse, with the water runoff showing just how much grime had accumulated over time.
